As a mother of three I understand the importance of capturing every single detail of your children's young lives. The time seems to slip away so fast and the photographs that we take over the years are more precious then gold because they allow us to relive those fond memories.?

I began studying the craft of photography in high school and then went on to continue studies in college at the University of Miami in Coral Gables FL, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in communication, with a concentration in photography.?

Shortly after graduating from college I started out doing freelance photography work for Palm Beach Photography (a local wedding photography company) and for Miami Agent Magazine (a real estate/event magazine). Eventually I was offered a position as a general manager for FotoIllusion Studios (a youth sports photography company) where I managed photo shoots and photographers for various sports leagues in the tri-county areas of Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.?

After the birth of my third child I realized that it was time to venture into my own business and thus Athena Scott Photography was incorporated in January of 2007.
